Noi Bai airport to Hanoi down town
Noi Bai airport shuttle buses or minibuses available outside the arrival terminal, you can easy find one or ask around to be guided to the station, you don’t need to buy ticket, just get on the bus and wait. The airport buses leave the airport for down town when full. The bus can drop you off somewhere on the way to city center – upon your request (different buses have their own final stop, all around city center).
Hanoi to Noi Bai airport
You need to get to the place of departure to take the bus (see below). The buses leave every 1-2 hours, Vietnam airlines buses leave 2 hours before the flight time scheduled. Need to get picked up? Use our airport car rental or shared airport car service.
Vietnam airlines bus departs from/arrives to Vietnam airlines office at 1 Quang Trung street, Hoan Kiem district (about 200m to the Hoan Kiem lake)
Viet Thanh airport bus and Vietjet air shuttle bus departs from/arrives to 69 Tran Nhan Tong (next to Central Circus Theater) – about 2km to city center and 180 Pham Van Dong street (Cau Giay dist), Hanoi.
Jestar pacific bus departs from/arrives to 206 Tran Quang Khai, Hoan Kiem dist (about 200m to Hoan Kiem lake)
Airport shuttle bus one way trip costs VND40,000-VND60,000 (US$3). Fares to specific requested destinations in Hanoi are higher. Make sure to confirm destination and fare before boarding the minibus.
Travel like a local
Use public bus (costs VND10,000 or $0.5) which departs every 20 minutes from their stations, there are 2 public buses number 7 and 17 leaving for Noi Bai airport. Bus number 7 leaves from station in Cau Giay bus hub and bus number 17 leaves from station in Long Bien bus hub. It takes longer, about 1 hour 15 minutes, so consider your departure flight carefully.
